[KN] JD is about listing the duties & responsibilities of an employee whereas JS is about identifying the skillset of an employee.
[AN] A job description tells you exactly what tasks and responsibilities you need to do in a job.
[AN+] A job specification lists the qualifications, skills, and qualities a person needs to have to do the job described in the job posting.

[KN] JS helps in selection process (during hiring) whereas JD helps in accountability of employees after being hired.
[AN] A Job Specification (JS) is crucial in hiring because it sets the standards and requirements for evaluating candidates.
[AN+] A Job Description (JD) is important after hiring as it clearly explains the tasks and responsibilities employees need to do in their roles in the organization.
